1980 Dodge Mirada Regenisis

This 1980 Dodge Mirada was ordered new by Brion Schwebke while he was stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army. He’d had other Dodges, including the ’77 Power Wagon he took to Germany, and apparently he selected all the right features for the Mirada, because when he returned to the States and went to the dealer in Bayonne, New Jersey, the sales manager said he had three other deposits on the car. “I told him I had someplace to be, and those people could order a car just like I had,” recalled Brion, who had to get to Fort Knox for his next assignment.

Once it all came back together, Brion said the Mirada looked better than the day he picked it up new. He’s enjoying it as a fun weekend car again, and loves the way it drives—just like it was, but with better pickup. “I’m absolutely thrilled with it!” said Brion

2023 Dodge Charger King Daytona

The Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody King Daytona brought the beef with an 807-hp supercharged Hellcat Hemi V-8. While it made big power, the name “King Daytona” was actually an homage to William “Big Willie” Robinson, the 1960s and ’70s L.A. street racing icon who built the original King Daytona Charger, among other iconic custom Mopars.

Get your motor runnin’ for the Dartmouth Dodge MOPAR auto show Sunday August 20^th from 10AM to 1PM at Dartmouth Chrysler Jeep Dodge. Vehicle registration starts at 8:30AM. Digital pictures will be taken of you and your vehicle for a $5.00 donation. There is no registration fee for vehicles and no entry fee for walk-ins but donations in support of these children’s charities are appreciated. Vehicle owners are happy to chat.

Check out vintage and classic cars, modern muscle cars and feature vehicles. Enjoy great music, a 50/50, tasty BBQ, a silent auction, prize draws and this year’s show t-shirts. There will be prizes draws throughout the event and 12 awards near the end of the show including a long distance award.. Presented by the Kin Club of Dartmouth, MOPAR Maritime Car Club and Dartmouth Chrysler Jeep Dodge.

Hi MM,

I thought you might like to share some images of my Chrysler.

Built in June 1987 for export it arrived in Norway a few months later and remained there for the next 33 years until December 2020 when it arrived in England. In July 2021 I bought it from a classic car dealer in England and it now lives with us here in Scotland.

A 318, it’s specifications are unusual for the year as it was built with a 4-barrel carb, heavy duty suspension & brakes, 8 ¼ differential and a 200 kph / 125 mph speedometer. It’s a low-mileage car with only 34.000 miles on it now and is in excellent condition, probably because it’s previous Norwegian owners I’m told kept it in heated garages during it’s life there.
